Is Tourza Baking Company part of Paramount Baking Company?

Yes. Tourza Baking Company operates under the Paramount Baking Company brand. We offer more fresh-baked products while upholding the same high standards trusted by families and retailers across Michigan.

Is Paramount Baking Company family-owned?

Paramount Baking Company has been a proud family-owned bakery since its founding in 1914, with the Ahee brothers, Ron and Charles Jr., at the helm for much of the 20th century. After transitioning to new ownership in 1986, Joe Hanna continued the legacy that had been established by the Ahee brothers. Today, multiple generations of the Hanna family work together to uphold the bakery's commitment to excellence and service to the community.

Where are you located? Can I buy pita bread directly from you?

At Paramount Baking Company, we produce all of our pita products and flatbreads at our commercial bakery in Roseville, Michigan. While we do not operate a public storefront, our products are available at major grocery retailers such as Kroger, Randazzo, Vince & Joe’s, and Nino Salvaggio. We value customer feedback and welcome suggestions from those throughout Metro Detroit and beyond.

How long does fresh pita bread last? What’s the best way to store it?

Our pita bread and flatbreads are made fresh with minimal preservatives, so proper storage is key. Sell-by dates are primarily used for store inventory tracking and DO NOT indicate expiration.
